Currently, there are four small villages: Koh Tuich, Dam Dkeuw, Prek Svay and Soksan.
Koh Rong Island is a great place to relax or to explore because the island is still almost deserted, undeveloped and natural treat. The trip to Koh Rong takes two or more hours from the mainland, in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. Check out external links for more details. It's a secret island. However, the plans for a massive resort complex, complete with golf courses, airport, casinos are taking shape; it will soon be one of the famous touristic destination of Cambodia.
The island is certainly the most beautiful island of the Sihanouk Ville region. A snowdrift bay, covered by a crystal clear and turquoise water, stretches on several kilometers. At the center, a jungle with thousands of coconut palms and waterfalls invade the island. Paradise found on Koh Rong.
